A Tiny Update
Hello there.
This is a minor update to Stuck, and likely the final update. Everything changed or added in this version was already intended to be done on release but I either didn't have the time or energy to do so. These changes have been sitting in the back of my mind for a bit and I wanted to include them as a part of my original vision. I want to hold myself to not doing any more updates as I think it's pretty important for this game more than others, and further changes have the chance of being emotionally dishonest, since the game is a bit of an emotional timecapsule.
Changes:
- Tweaked the volume of all sounds, the game was generally too quiet before.
- Added menu and transition sounds.
- Changed ball controls to be slightly more responsive and less tiring.
- Lastly, some minor editing to the script. The last version had a bit of redundancy in it's script and most of my edits were simply cutting unessisary lines. The piece is now a slightly tighter 46 lines rather than 53.
I tried a few other changes that I had originally intended but couldn't make them fit without further changes, so I decided against it.
I've been working on other stuff since November last year and finish uni in just two weeks! So, expect more games soon :)
